Performance Measurement and Coaching
    Through our performance measurement services, we help clients understand the difference they are making in the world. Performance measurement is the foundation of program evaluation and a useful tool in ongoing program management and planning. From our years of experience in conducting program evaluations, we have developed a keen understanding of performance measurement frameworks including the theory of change or logic models on which they are based and how to select useful, practical, and meaningful indicators to measure a program’s progress towards its goals.

        We offer two different approaches for building performance measurement frameworks: 1) an à la carte service where we take a deep dive into the program objectives, activities, and target groups and develop a ready-to-use performance measurement framework; and 2) a coaching service where we lead program staff through the process of building the framework together. The first option expedites the process and results in a product that can be implemented immediately upon completion, while the second option builds internal capacity and facilitates ongoing learning and buy-in resulting in an evergreen guidebook that can evolve with the program.
