Health Care

The health care sector in Canada is a complex and dynamic environment spanning multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups. Our team has supported clients with some of the top issues facing the Canadian health care system including primary care reform, mental health and substance use services, interdisciplinary health care teams, access to patient data and privacy concerns, recruitment and retention of medical professionals, Indigenous health governance, and more. Using effective approaches, such as developmental evaluation, systems thinking, rapid review and outcome-based research, we provide our clients with accurate and timely information to support informed decision making around health care programming and policy.

In a recent project, we supported Inner City Youth with an evaluation of their interdisciplinary team-based transition home for youth with mental health and substance use challenges. This project provided us great insight into the need for prevention and wraparound care for our most vulnerable populations in Canada. Other recent projects include the Evaluation of the First Nations and Inuit Mental Wellness Programs on behalf of Health Canada; and an Evaluation of the Weeneebayko Area Health Integration Framework Agreement.
